Felony In Michigan If You Don’t Report Missing Child – Senate Panel Approves Bill
As a reaction to the Caylee Anthony story, our Michigan legislature has designed legislation to protect children. A care taker could face felony charges if they don’t report a missing child who is under their care. This felony charge could put a person away for two years.
State Senator Tom Casperson is sponsoring this bill. He doesn’t view it as an overreaction to national news. Casperson says there has been overwhelming support from constituents for this bill.
